Joomla admin panel simplifier
Monday, 26 July 2010 20:27
Whenever I introduce someone to Joomla the first reaction is oooh, that looks a bit complex and in all fairness to them it is. It is daunting and your average non-techie isn't going to pickup the basics easily. Now i'm sure other web developers have heard the phrase "Can't you just turn it off" from project managers without any real knowledge of what is involved or the implications of doing such a thing. So I have created a customisable module which lets you hide non-essential parts of the Joomla backend.

Tuesday, 29 June 2010 23:41
Well, it's been a while. I'll put my hands up I haven't given you guys much in the way of template updates but believe me the wait will have been worth it. I've worked extra hard since returning from holidays to get this to a point where it's releasable for the public to use, not only have I made a load updates and bugfixes, I have also created a new shiny white version of the template!

Monday, 21 June 2010 14:39
Just a quick post as it's been a while due to being on holiday in Spain, this is a quick module I've put together over the past year or so and use quite often, it's easy to customisae though I haven't quite got it to work with multiple instances of the module on the same page (sorry!). Anyway it's FREE as always, my google map module.
Joomla admin template with Google Analytics module
Monday, 17 May 2010 17:34
Over the past months I have been actively developing various succesful extensions for Joomla, however, I have failed to extend my Joomla admin template enough to gain it entrance to the extensions.joomla.org area which would gain it the most publicity, I didn't want to "re-invent the wheel" like some other admin templates by creating my own set of icons that do the same job, or creating a session reminder for logout.
Joomla SEO and Accessibility Patch
Wednesday, 28 April 2010 21:10
It's been a while since I last posted, and it's going to be a while till my next post because I'm moving apartment and according to Sky I could be without Internet for upto 4 weeks! Anyway there will be a new release of the Joomla! admin template and Joomla! tag cloud when I return. In the mean time I thought I would keep the visitors keen by handing out a patch I regularly use to give Joomla! a bit of a boost in Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Accessibility to help our less able friends navigate our websites
Joomla admin template - udjamaflip jquery template 0.9.2 beta
Thursday, 15 April 2010 21:38
Well it has been a couple of weeks since the last update to the free joomla admin template I have been working on, but I have recently been stripping out any attachments to the Khepri template and creating a new fresh full content control based on the already existing templates theme. Anyway enough rambling, here is a proper list of everything which has been changed and/or updated:
Joomla! custom fields (based on Wordpress custom fields)
Friday, 09 April 2010 19:20
This rite here, it's a custom field!
Over the past year of development in Joomla! i have come across a few shortcomings and a few features in alternative CMS such as Wordpress which I think would be great added functionality in Joomla! such as custom fields. So I have created a nice combination of plugins, modules and components for Joomla to have a similiar way of controlling content through custom fields in the way Wordpress does.

Joomla! tag cloud module v0.5 beta
Saturday, 06 March 2010 20:18
I've had a lot of good feedback on this module so didn't want to dissapoint and let it float off into that pile of projects which doesn't get touched. Based on feedback through the comments on v0.4 beta tag cloud I have rectified the following issues, and hopefully we should be close to exiting beta!
